Nambung National Park, Western Australia

The Pinnacles in Western Australia are a must see for anyone looking to expand their travel horizons.  You’ll see thousands of spires made from aged limestone shooting up from the sandy deserts, and wildlife you’ve only experienced on television.  

Visit the Nambung National Park, and set forth to experience this place on foot.  You may end up with some sand in your shoes, but the journey is worth the hassle.

Algar do Carvao, Azores Islands

The Azores are a beautiful Spanish locale which features an ancient volcanic vent tunnel named the Cavern of Coal.  You can hike in the tunnel where lava once flowed freely. It will feel like you’re in some other world, but civilization is actually pretty closeby.  

You can also bike around the Lagoon of the Seven Cities, and soak in a geothermal hot spring.  Some travelers even had the opportunity to swim with dolphins.
